Jacqueline Gonzalez Rivera

As a highly dynamic and eclectic therapist I specialize in a variety of treatments of problems across the lifespan of individuals, couples, and families. Common issues addressed in therapy are anxiety, depression, identity, culture, sexuality, and relationship of self and others. I have extensive experience working with individuals facing identity concerns including sexuality. Most of the work I do involves the relationship with self and how we show up in the world. Together we will examine your life and perspectives from a variety of angles and decide on the best treatment plan for you. It is important to remember that this is your space and your treatment as humans we are highly complex and encompass so much more emotional fortitude then we are given credit. Healing occurs in all types of spaces and ideas I hope to go on this journey with you.

What is my approach to therapy?

Every person deserves the opportunity to learn how to color their own souls. My approach in therapy is to allow for the individual to oversee their space. What this means is acting as a guide rather than directive. I specialize in guiding others to learn who they are throughout life. Utilizing a variety of modalities to tailor and foster an environment that works for your individual healing process.

What is therapy?

Therapy is an agreed amount of time with an agreement between two individuals: the clinician and the client. In which different life events are processed analyzed and coping mechanisms are developed. Therapy can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 53 minutes depending on need and insurance. To find out more please contact me.

How do you keep a safe environment?

We follow all safe practice guidelines set forth by state and federal agencies. As a clinician we are required by law to support the ethics.
